With the big crisis of the Syrian refugees that affected Europe, the public seemingly forgot the cries of other unfortunate children across the globe. In this low-budget campaign, Unicef wanted to make a call to help those African countries where children continue to starve year after year.
When analysing this problem, we found this quote within the uplifting Maurithanian Unicef report:
“My child no longer eats sand”, which is an excellent opportunity and a powerful message to show Spanish taxpayers the value of aid and the need to sustain cooperative development programs. Based in the terrifying truth that some African children eat sand in order to trick their bellies, we developed a very simple outdoor and digital campaign.
